Colorful Floral Nail Art, NOTD

Hello Girls!
My madness and passion about nail art is increasing day by day. This colorful floral nail art took about 40 minutes to complete. Design was small and my nails are also small but still I was so excited so took my nail art brush and started doing it.

First I made colorful flowers and then lined their outer with black.

Also made small two lines inside the flowers around the center of flower.

And then I put a small star bead as a center on few flowers.

And then secured it with top coat. :)

Hope you like it. <3 :)

Nail Art Beads Set & Nail Art

Bonjour Butterflies!
This is my first set of nail art beads, when I saw it I couldn't believe that I got something related to nail art in local gift shop.
It's designed by Korea, that's why whatever written on front and back was not understandable to me except the words written in English "Nail Art Beads Set".

How to use : You can see picture below which shows how to use it.

It includes :
A beads set in round case, a red stick with white head, a light glue in plastic nail paint bottle and 12 pieces of artificial nails.
I'm completely in love with this set.

A more closer look of artificial nails which have floral design.

This is how I use the stick : One can apply glue on stick and then take the bead or put a drop of glue on nail and take the bead with the help of stick to place it on nail.

A closer look to beads -

And I randomly picked some beads and made this design -

Oriflame Make That Change Palette 2011 Review

Aloha Ladies!
Today I'm going to review Oriflame Make That Change Palette 2011. I've done few EOTDs with this palette and am utterly content with its quality and staying power.
Oh! I forgot to tell you that I didn't purchase it. It was a gift from my mamma and its actual price is Rs 1990/-.

It comes in black velvet bag/pouch which includes one large mirror and palette.

Pros :

  • Nicely pigmented.
  • Shades (eye shadow, blush, lip color) for all skin tone.
  • Staying power is very good : Eye shadow, blush, lip color lasts for 5 hours. Lip color starts fading within 4 hours, leaving hint of color.
  • Lip color has no smell. Eye shadow and blush has peculiar smell but mild, so no worries.
  • Travel friendly. It's big but can get in a medium sized bag or purse.
  • I like the packaging which includes mirror so that one don't have to assume and apply.

Cons :

  • Price.

I can't find any other minus point for this palette. Just love it.

Rating : 4.70 / 5

Recommend : Certainly. This is a very good palette. Must try. :tup

Ridiculously Easy Hairstyle

May be most of you know about this hairstyle but if you don't know then this easy hairstyle is for YOU!
I recently searching something and found Maria Menounos wearing this simple and cute hairstyle.

So here is the simple steps -

  • Bangs were just pulled to one side, but there's a trick here.

  • That lock was twisted down just once before it was pinned with the pin going from the back of her head toward her face.

Such a simple move, but it allows for just a tiny bit of height in the front that's really flattering. So easy!

Avoid my big forehead. :P

Would wear your hair like this?

Green Eye Makeup, EOTD

Celebs does know how to rock out the sparkling makeup trends.
This green eye look is inspired by Keri Hilson eye makeup. But I did it a bit differently.

You'll need -

  • Primer
  • Foundation.
  • Concealer.
  • Copper eye shadow.
  • Golden eye shadow.
  • Green eyeliner or green eye shadow. (I used green eye shadow)
  • Black eye shadow.
  • Makeup brushes.
Let's begin -
1. After preparing your eyes with primer and concealer, apply gold eye shadow on center of eye lid.
2. Then use copper eye shadow on whole eyelid. Blend gold and copper eye shadow.
I didn't use any eye shadow for crease and brow bone.

3. Now apply green eyeliner (you can also use green gel eyeliner) But in case if you don't have any of these then use the green eye shadow and apply it with the help of liner brush as I did. :)

4. Now the twisted part, use black eye liner or eye shadow for the outer winged style. Blend the green and black eye liner to get the look.
The liner should be thicker on outer corner of your eyes.

5. Then apply black eyeliner or eye shadow on outer side of lower lash line.

 6. Then apply loads of black mascara. I wanted to use fake lashes but I forgot. :P
And yes I also forgot to apply blush. :P

For lips - For sophisticated and neat style use a nude gloss.

Hope you like it. :)

   L <3 VE,

How To : Smooth Eyeliner Pencil

A very neat little trick for your daily life which involves your eyeliner pencil.

Take your eyeliner and run it over a lighter for a a second or two not more than that to soften it up a bit.
Let it cool for a second and then you’re good to go to use it. Make sure that the tip isn't too hot.
The process of warming it will allow your eyeliner to apply in a smoother fashion and you’ll be able to get that perfect defined eye look.
( If you left the pencil eyeliner in the flame too long then remove any excess using tissue paper, let it set for 5-10 seconds and apply).

You can also use blow dryer instead of lighter. :)  Just be careful.
It also works to slightly waterproof your eyeliner, especially on the inner rims, as well.

How To : Get Lashed Up

Beautiful, youthful, flirty and effortlessly sexy, who wouldn't want gorgeously long, thick Cheryl Cole-style eyelashes?
But it's not surprising that luxurious lashes are so desirable: they add instant glamour, and widen small, tired eyes to make you look instantly younger.

There is a catch: applying false lashes can be a hit-and-miss affair. So here's a step-by-step guide.

APPLYING LASHES ^_^

1. Remove the lashes from the pack and hold them against your eye to measure them against the length of your own natural lash line. False lashes are often too long for your eye, so ensure you cut the strips to fit. If you leave them too long, they will drag your eyes down - which will have the opposite effect of the youthful look you are aiming for.

I used Konad fake eyelash :

2 Now you have two choices:

  • Either apply the adhesive on to the full length of the base of the false lashes or,
  • Using a brush, place dots of adhesive along your own natural lash-line before pressing the false lash on to it.
I used first method/choice :

 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the opposite eye. It is very important to wait 30 seconds for the adhesive to become tacky before applying the false lashes.

4. You can use Using tweezers, hold the strip lash in the centre. Then place it in the centre of your natural lashes. Then, again using the tweezers, push the inner side of strip lash in place, followed by the outer side.

  • If you don't feel comfortable with tweezers then use your fingers to apply lashes by following same technique used in step 4.
5. Using a 'pinching-and-push' technique with the tweezers to pinch together the strip lashes and your natural lashes, then 'push' them towards your eyelids. Do this all the way across the lashes and repeat for the other eye.

  • You can also use ear bud to push lashes.

Eyeliner can be added if needed, or mascara, but this needs careful application to the natural lashes only.

You can also use fake eyelashes without eye make-up. Try it. :)
