New Year's Eye Look - Deep Purple

Hello Butterflies!
Last day of 2011 and we all are getting ready for the new year party. So here is the New Eve's party look. I choose purple to be the main color. It's kind of smokey eye look.

How to get this look -

  • As first step I applied a copper shade on my eye lids (blend through the lash line to the crease).

  •  Take your deep purple eye shadow and just pop it on center of eyelid and blend it.

  •  With the help of angled brush apply black eye shadow on upper lash line.

  •  A bit more black color on outer v-corner of eye to make it more dense.

  •  Blend all the colors and apply fake eye lashes.

  • Now apply black or blue eyeliner on upper lash line. I used a delicate swipe of black eyeshadow on lower lash line.
  • Then add loads of black mascara and you're done with the eyes.

I love Pink. And light pink lip color is nice to wear with bold eyes. You can also wear nude or clear lip-gloss with the bold eyes.

Like it? Love it? Or ?

Dye Eyebrows Naturally

Eyebrow dyeing has become a very common cosmetic way to enhance feminine beauty and highlight the eyes.
Wonderful, well-shaped eyebrows not only enhances face but also the eyes. It is more like giving a beautiful outline to your forehead. Many women like to experiment with new colors frequently.
Don't wanna spend much on eyebrow dyeing done by a pro, follow these simple tips to dye your eyebrows at home naturally.

Eyebrow Dyeing And Regrowing Naturally :

  1. Clean your face well, using a mild soap. Use a mild face scrub for your eyebrows to remove the dry skin that is clogging the hair roots. Coarsely grind the soaked almonds and mix a teaspoon of yogurt. Applying this natural scrub will successfully remove hair and nourish roots.
  2. Make sure your face is completely dry and pull your hair in a ponytail to prevent it from falling into your face.
  3. Take a baby toothbrush or eyebrow brush to remove the loose hair on skin.  Dip the brush in a mild soap solution and brush it gently.
  4. Apply a moisturizer on the eyebrows to prevent the smudging of the hair color.
  5. A branded mascara/ liquid eyeliner can be used as a temporary eyebrow dye.
  6. Boil castor oil, henna and curry leaves in a metallic pan. The herbal mixture is preserved in a glass container and refrigerated. The liquid turns dark after days and applying it on eyebrows twice daily will make the brows naturally black and also support growth.
  7.  Even black coffee decoction( brewed coffee ) is mixed with the henna powder. The natural hair colour can be applied to darken eyebrows.
  8. Add a teaspoon of ghee to the oil lamp. Place a cylindrical metallic mesh around lamp and cover the mesh with a lid. The carbon that gets collected when the lamp is lit is herbal and chemical free. Collecting carbon black in a container and applying it on brows will be an effective eyebrow dye.

Best Lip Colors For Dusky Skin

Lipstick can add a glamour to the simple or stylish look. However, many women have a difficult time choosing their best lipstick color. The skin/complexion can make it confusing to choose the best colour which blends well with the skin tone.
If, nude colors can make you look dull and spoil the glossy evening look. So, which lip colours are ideal for dark skin women?

Best Lip Colors For Dusky Skin :

Red: Go for simple glossy red color to get the juicy lips and add sensuality to the dark skin colour. Wine red and dark red are ideal lip colors for dark skin women. You can apply and carry both formal as well as the informal look with style!

Pink: Go for light pink lip color which Rihanna carried off well at an event. Don't apply lip liner. Let the colour blend with the natural lip colour. It's funky and adds a different appeal to the outfit.

Chocolate : This lip colour can add spark to the dusky look and can be carried off well. Rich cocoa colour and chocolate brown colour can be tried occasionally to flaunt the dusky makeup. Even raisin lip colour can compliment the dark skin of the woman.

Grape: Women with dark skin tone can apply grape lipstick or lip gloss with light coloured outfit. Carry the grape lips in evening and dazzle the party look!

Easy And Cute Polka Dot Nail Art

A simple design that is very cute and adorable. This design is really easy to perform just have to careful in making dots.
I didn't decide to paint each nail with different color. But when I posted Lakme Color Crush Nail paint's notd and review, I decided to do nail art on the same colorful nails from the earlier post.

What I use -

  • 5 Different Nail Paints. You can also choose single shade to color all your nails.
  • Dotting tool / Toothpick.
  • 2 Nails paints for making dots. I used pink and white (You can choose any two colors).
  • Top Coat.

Process -

1. Paint your nails with different shades. I choose blue, purple, yellow, peach and pinkish white.
2. Make pink dots in a particular pattern with the help of dotting tool or toothpick.

3. Now make white dots on few pink dots to get the complete look.

 4. Finally apply top coat to secure your work.

Hope you like it. <3
