Polka Dots On Pink French Manicure

Hello Everyone!!
French manicure is something we always love and it never looks out dated. One thing you can do to give this normal french manicure a new look is to try it with bright and vivid colors. I tried pink french manicure and for making it more fun I used white polka dots on it.

Things you'll need-
  • Pink nail paint.
  • White nail paint.
  • Orange stick or anything with round tip.
  • Tiny golden stones (optional).
  • Transparent nail paint.

1) First apply any color on your nail's tips. I used pink nail paint for french manicure.
2) Take a toothpick and a drop of white nail paint on a paper. Pick white color with the help of broader side of toothpick and make dots only on pink french tips of your nails.
 3) After that apply transparent nail paint on all nails.
 4) If you want something different you can apply golden stones on your nails with glue and apply transparent nail paint over it.

 Here is the final look...
Note : Never apply any second coat of nail paint or any other design before drying your first coat of nail paint. :)

Do try it and let me know.

Golden Eye Makeup For Raksha Bandhan

I was thinking what should I wear on my eyes on Raksha Bandhan. Then suddenly an idea came on my mind and I started doing it and this is what I got. It's a Golden eye makeup or you can say it's more like golden smokey eye makeup. The look is sexy and glamorous yet softer than the conventional charcoal smokey eye. It's very easy and  suits every skin tone and the golden color will match nearly any outfit you are wearing. I found it very classy with twist of celebrity style.

1) Prepare eye area with foundation and compact, also use primer if you desire.
2) Apply golden eye shadow on eyelid area.
 3) Then apply copper brown eye shadow on crease as shown in picture below.
 4) Apply black eye shadow with an eyeliner brush on upper lash line and blend all.
 5) Apply liquid eyeliner on upper lash line with a small and thin wing.

 6) Use kajal on water line and secure it with black eye shadow so that it kajal will not smudge or bleed.
7) Highlight with a neutral eye shadow. Add loads of mascara.

Double Faux French Braid Hairstyle

Aloha Friends!
Today I tried a new hairstyle, called as "Double Faux French Braid Hairstyle". It seems difficult but ones you know how to do it after practicing a bit you can do it easily. :)

Grab your comb, hair band and start -
1) Part your hairs into two from side or from center as you like.
2) Brush both parts of hair and tie up one part of hair with hair band. And starts with other part of hair by taking two pieces or strands of hair from top of that hair section.

 3) Criss-cross the two pieces by bringing the one underneath the other. then add the small section of hair from underneath the faux braid to the pieces of hair close to that section. Criss-cross the two sections again by bringing the one closest to that piece of hair underneath the other piece.
 4) Continue until the faux braid reaches below the ear and all the hairs of that part braided well.
5) Untie other side of hair and repeat the process with them.
 6) Now take both faux braids at one side of neck and tie with hair band.

You have to make both faux braids in a way so that both can come at one side of neck to get tied.
Hope you all like it. :)

Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick-Silk Secret Review

Hello Beauties!!
Saw an ad on a magazine and decided to get that, you know what was that thing..it was Chambor Silk Touch Lipstick. I totally mesmerized by the color and the silk touch on model's lips, the color she was wearing was dark berry red. But when I entered into the shop and starts seeing the shades I decided to get something other than that red color because I wanted to try something in brown.
I had tried it on my lips while purchasing it. It was really light, felt that I am wearing nothing on my lips and completely moisturized.

Price : 525 for 4.5 gm.
Shade : Available in a wide range of 18 capitivating hues. Mine is 673 Silk Secret.
Ingredients : Castor oil, Caprylic, Mineral oil, Isopropyl, Octyl Dodecanol, Glyceryl isostearate, Shea Butter, Candelilla wax and Paraben.
Packaging : Looks is really classy. It's a blue and silver case with a chambor rose printed on it.
Light Brown Shade(Silk Secret) Swatch

Smell : I love it's smell, its something like coconut and floral smell. The perfume in it is mild. Your nose can tolerate it and loves it too.
Texture : Texture is really light and it glides smoothly on lips. No need to apply lip balm before or after the application of this lipstick.
Staying power : SA told me that it stays for 7-8 hours but it stayed on my lips for 3-4 hours even after meal and when it fades it gives lightest color of lipstick and doesn't bleed.  My lips didn't feel dry at all after lipstick has worn off or faded out completely.
with flash looks pink but under natural light it's light brown.

Pros -

  • Creamy texture just like silk on my lips.
  • Very Hydrating, no need of lip balm or gloss.
  • Sun protection.
  • Have Anti- Aging properties.
  • Doesn't bleed, no need to apply lip liner.
  • Doesn't settle into fine lines of my lips. :)
  • Pigmented, even one swatch can give you exact color.
  • Staying power is 3-4 hours.
  • 18 shades for everyone.

Cons -

  • It has sun protection but it's not clear how much SPF it has.
  • Expensive.
  • Doesn't stay for 7-8 hours but 3-4 hrs.

I will re-purchase it. It's a fabulous lipstick. Love it. <3

Beauty Tip : Ways To Remove Tan

Hello Friends!
Sorry for not posting beauty tip on Sunday, I was out-of-town and did shopping whole Sunday for Raksha Bandhan.
Today I am going to tell you what should you do when you get a drastic tan on your face, hands, foot..anywhere.
There are so many ways to remove tan, am going to tell you few best of them.

  • One of the easiest and fastest way to reduce tanning is to apply buttermilk. You can also make your own Buttermilk by diluting a cup of yogurt in 2 liters of water and blend well. This can be rubbed on tanned skin and will show excellent results. You can apply this on your skin as many times a s you like.
  • Aloe vera gel is also an excellent way to reduce tan. Try and get leaves of the plant and press them for fresh gel. If you use aloe vera gel that comes in a tube from a store, this also works equally well. Make it a point to apply this overnight because using aloe vera gel and going out in the sun can make your skin darker.
  • Mix 1 cup of yogurt, juice of one medium cucumber, 1 tablespoon honey, pulp of a tomato and a half cup of chickpea flour. If the mixture seems a bit runny add more chickpea flour. Apply all over your tanned body and leave it for 30-40 minutes( the longer you leave it on, the more benefits it will have). Then wash off using lukewarm water and loofah.
  • One part sugar, one part salt and two parts of lemon juice. You can also use half lemon with sugar and salt and rub it on tanned skin.

Hope you'll find it helpful... :)

Toe Nail Art

I never tried nail art on my toe nails, this is my first time. After doing it I can say that adding a simple Toe Nail Art design to your toes will make them look so special!! You will feel great too, I'm sure!
Inspiration was letter 'S', this is first letter of my hubby's name.

What you need for simple toe nail art is...

  • Silver Nail polish
  • Top coat
  • Black nail paint
  • Nail art brush

1) Apply silver nail paint on all toe nails.
 2) Take your nail art brush and make this design on only thumb toe nails. For design I chose      black nail paint.
Its simple and if you want you can make designs on other toe nails too.
I have completed it only in few minutes. Let me know what you think about this Toe nail art.
