My Big Haul :)

I am very happy with my haul. I shopped so many things which I needed badly. And am extremely happy not because I got so many stuff but I shopped on Monday when I usually get bore at home and only get time for shopping on weekends. :)
So here is the list of what i got -

  • Everyuth Orange peel-off
  • Joy skin fruits Oil control face wash
  • Maybelline color sensational lipstick
  • Black Nail paint
  • Hair sticks
  • Nivea whitening deo

  •  Cucumber works amazingly on my skin. So when I saw Everyuth Cucumber face pack I grab it and it's orange peel-off was there next to face pack so I took it too.
  • A random black nail paint for nail art.

  •  I never use fake eyelashes before but I have seen what it looks when somebody wears it...it looks amazing and cheap so without thinking I put it in my bag.
  • I have seen great reviews of Maybelline Color Sensational lip colors, so  finally got it's summer sunset for me.

  •  I needed a facial kit so that I can do facial at home whenever I need to pamper my skin. :) VLCC pearl facial kit grabbed my attention so chose that one.
  • This is the first time I am using product of coronation. I pick it only because I wanted to know how tulsi pack works. :)
  • I don't get much time for visiting parlor but whenever I get time I rush. I bought this Sleek facial hair remover wax to get rid of few facial hairs.
  • After seeing ad of Joy face wash of Anushka Sharma, I decided to give it a try.

  •  Hair sticks, my new accessory for hairs in this humid weather.

  •  I bought Nivea whitening deo because of its mild smell. Love it.
  • Broke my i-ball pen drive so got this new Sony 4GB pen drive in white. Isn't it lovely?

Red Hearts On Black Nail Art

Hi Everyone!
For the first time I tried black nail paint and now am loving it. This nail art is completely done by nail art brush with freehand.
Take three nail paints black, red and pink with a Konad nail art brush and start -
1) Paint all nails with glittered black nail paint and let it dry completely.

2) Take nail art brush and draw 2-3 small red hearts on each nail.
3) Then apply pink nail paint to color border of hearts with the help of nail art brush (as shown in picture below).

4) Did something different on one nail. Draw two lines with red nail paint and make dots with pink color along  the line. Secure your nail art with transparent nail paint always. :)

Konad Nail Art Brush
This nail art only needs patience to make perfect hearts. :)

Beauty Tip : Add Volume To Your Hair Roots

Hi Everyone!
Today is Sunday and I am here again with a beauty tip. This week's tip is How to add volume to your roots after styling.
There are a bunch of products to add volume, but what if you have one of those days where you style your hair, only to realize that it's falling flat around the roots. Then what? Then you employ this little tip.

What we use to give volume is a Volume spray but that's not all, we should do it correctly.
1. Part the top section of your hair.
2. Spritz hairspray along the part line.

3. Dry the hairspray in (really important, hairspray must be dried in for it to work) by using a cool or warm heat (Dryer).

4. Repeat those steps about a cm in towards the center part line.

Result - Repeat 2-3 times and you'll get great root lift.

Hope you all find it useful. :)

Artistry Self Defining Sheer Foundation Review

Aloha Ladies!
Today I'm reviewing Amway Artistry Self Defining Sheer Foundation. The name Self defining sheer is well suited to it because it gives a sheer effect on face and goes perfectly. This foundation was given by my mom to me. As I have oily skin and I needed something which gives matte finish so she found this for me.

What it claims -

This ultra light formula creates a naturally perfect looking complexion while ingeniously responding to your skin’s moisturising needs.
Artistry Self Defining Sheer foundation gives a semi matte finish & stays fresh for up to 12 hours & minimizes the appearance of fine lines with light reflective technology. Offers anti oxidant protection with Vitamin E & acerola cherry compound & defence against environmental damage with Artistry Oxishield Solar Complex with SPF 15.

Price : 1399/-

It's a small square shaped bottle with a golden cap. Bottle is of thick glass and I can see that how much quantity is left.
Here is the swatch without flash, this shade is for fair skin.
Without flash
You can see it's get totally absorbed and gives medium to full coverage with a little sheer effect.
Without flash
Pros-
  • Gives a sheer effect without containing shimmer particles.
  • Good for oily skin, gives semi matte finish.
  • Shades available for everyone.
  • Medium to full coverage.
  • It has SPF 15.
  • Staying power is really good, don't know about 12 hours staying power because I applied it only for 4-5 hours and it stays for that time.
  • Texture is light and bit watery.
  • It minimizes the fine lines but I don't have fine lines so couldn't say much about it.
  • It has anti oxidant protection with Vitamin E & acerola cherry compound(the cherry possesses anti-inflammatory and astringent properties. It is rich in Vitamin C and over 150 phytonutrients have been found in the cherry)
  • Defense against environmental damage.

Cons-
  • Expensive.
  • Bottle has an open mouth so hygienic problem is there when you take out foundation on your hand directly.
  • One has to take care about how much amount to take out, it's watery so more foundation can come out sometimes.
  • You must be member of Amway or you can only buy it through a member.

It's best for normal to oily skin as it gives semi matte finish and sheer effect. :)

White Floral-Simple Nail Art

Hello Beauties!!
Nail art takes time and practice. This simple nail art could be done by anyone, specially beginners can try it easily. Making dots in nail art is best for beginners to choose. I did it in few minutes and it's damn easy.

You will need -

  • Two nail paints of different colors, here I have bright red and soft beige.
  • White nail paint
  • Blue nail paint with glitters.
  • A toothpick, here I have paper pin with round head.

1)Paint your all nails with bright red color and after drying it apply soft beige diagonally as you can see in picture below.
2) Put a drop of blue nail paint on a magazine paper and with the help of paper pin's round head apply dots on separation line of nail colors.

3) Make flowers with white nail paint by dotting around the blue dots.

4) I did something different on one nail, same colors but different design.
