Day Party Makeup

When it comes to day makeup we always think what to wear on eyes to look gorgeous and also according to the function we are going to. Specially when it is day function or party so you don't overdo but whatever do look best on you. So I came up with a great eye makeup for day party. Adding glitter to your eye makeup takes your basic day look to the next level for a special event. Why  stick to neutral safe makeup? Experiment with your looks and get that trendsetter title.


1- Apply primer on eye lid and loose powder, then use white eye shadow on whole eye lid.

2- On outer corner of eyes use light purple eye shadow.

3- For matching the exact color with my saree I used pink eye shadow on purple eye shadow to get that specific color. You can also mix eyeshadow to get that exact color to match. This is what I do.. :)

4- Here I used gold glitters from inner corner to center of eye lid. I didn't use loads of glitter but a very little amount of it to get that gorgeous look.

5- With eye brush swipe on gold glitters to mix up with eye shadow and get that smooth look.

6- Highlight brow bone with very light pink eye shadow and apply kajal and eye liner as shown in picture below.

Beauty Tip : How To Keep Concealer From Melting Off

As we all know weather is really humid and it's not possible for everyone to wear makeup in this humidity.
But unless the complexion god look upon you fondly from sky, you'll need to use a bit of concealer. But what you can do to make it stay for long and keep it from melting off. Well here is the tip for you -

• Take a fine-point concealer brush, wet it and apply dampened loose powder to any blemishes.
• Look for oil-free concealer when air is sticky, it won't sit on top of skin.
• Best is to buy waterproof concealer. Maybelline NY waterproof cover-stick is great under budget buy for this weather.

Mehndi Tattoos

Bonjour Ladies!

We all women know that Mehndi is world-wide famous and usually worn by women to beautify themselves.

Foe functions and weddings we just can't stay away from it. Nowadays Mehndi designs on hands and feet transformed into tattoos on shoulder, back side of neck and anywhere we want. 

So I tried a butterfly tattoo on my side of foot and my husband also gave it a try.

Lakme Fantasy Collection Shimmer Eye Liner

Today I'm reviewing Lakme Fantasy collection shimmer eyeliner in Glimmer Blue, Astral green, Indigo Star and Pink crystal. I loved all the shades. I applied it on my hand and after drying I tried to smudge it vigorously but it didn't smudge till I use cleanser or makeup remover to remove it. It is smudge proof and stays for long.

It is available in 8 shades.

Price - 275/- for 3.5 ml.

• This is a gel based eye liner with micro fine glitter particles.
• It's non smudging feature gives you complete look for parties.
• Vivid colors like pink, green , blue and even transparent that could be used as a top coat.
• The applicator is slim and long but it's not possible to apply thin line.
• Looks attractive and very handy, you can carry it anywhere in your bag.

Lakme Glide On Eye Color Review

Hi Everyone!

I was searching for a good eye pencil which can take place in my vanity box. When came across to these shimmer liners my search completed. 

It is available in 7 wonderful shades. These pencils are sharpening type but non retractable.

• They have deep, intense and creamy texture.
• The color pay-off is nice.
• Doesn't sting when I applied it on my water line.
• It is smudge proof but smudges after few hours.
• You can use it also as eye shadow by smudging it on eye lid.
• The texture is really creamy and glides smoothly.

Price- 275 /- for 1.2 gm.

Iridescent Blue - It is bright shimmery blue shade.

Warm Copper - It is Matt brown in shade.

Smokey Green - It is like forest green or Khaki green shade.(Also has shimmer in it)

Nail Art for Love Day

Hi y’all beautiful ladies..

Today I was free as usual so I tried a simple nail art, which I think would be suitable for valentine’s day.

I know its too late for valentine but you can try it anytime you want.

Things I used -

• A Toothpick or Zero/liner brush.
• Red nail paint
• White nail paint.
• Transparent nail paint.

Here we go -

1) Apply a coat of transparent nail paint on your nails to give a lustrous look.

2) Then apply a white nail paint on nail tips, yes we are doing French manicure.. :)

3) Now place a drop of red nail paint on any paper or magazine and take the toothpick to pick color with it's broader side.

4) Then make heart shape on the left side of nail tip, if you feel its difficult then try any zero/liner brush.

5) After drying your little hearts, again apply a coat of transparent nail paint to secure what you have made.

My Small Haul :)

Aloha Ladies!

Today I shop from newU, Fabindia and other shops but got very few things from every store. So I just wanted to share my haul with you  people. Here are the stuff i got. :)

Eye Lash Curler - I desperately wanted an eye lash curler so I asked SA of NewU store for a very good quality curler for lashes she said QVS so I choose a black purple eye lash curler because I love purple color that's why I always choose blindly if it's in purple..hehehe.
When I used it I found it quiet good, it also has 2 spare pads.
Price - 155 - 200 (I don't remember the exact price now)


Lotus Detan Face Pack - I got it for my husband because he got really bad tan but it was useless. SA said it's best but they just want people to buy their products anyhow for that they lie very nicely. I didn't notice any change. So it's totally a no-no product for me.


Coloroma Nail Paint - I brought 2 nail paints of Maybelline in nude shades, one is very light coffee color and other one is light pink. Both are nice shades.
Price - 85/- each.


OxyGlow Neem and Tulsi Face Wash - It's suitable for all skin types which is true because when I tried it didn't feel stretchy or dry.  It is enriched with vitamin E which is again good for skin.
Price - 60/-


Fabindia Papaya Pack - I was actually visited fabindia store for coral glow face pack but they said fabindia has discontinued it for 2-3 months which broke my heart. They showed me some new face packs and I chose papaya face pack because I know what papaya can do for skin is magical, so I brought it home and applied on my face, it stings for 2-3 mins then after 15 mins I washed it. I saw nothing..really it was nothing. I was and still am really unhappy for what fabindia created with papaya extract. My skin looks better after using face wash and this pack doesn't even cleanses my face and I expected miracle from this papaya pack. It's a Big No for me and for any one else.
Price - 175/- for a useless tube.
